What Works Right Now
Last checked: October 23, 2026. L.O.S The Ville runs on our own server, rebuilt from the game itself: Zynga's server was never saved, and only about a sixth of the game's art survived. We've remade a lot of what was lost. Here's where it's at. Something not on this list broken? Tell us in Bug Reports.
✅ Working
- Your character: making and dressing your character. Other players and the town's regulars wear real clothes and hair (stand-ins for the ones whose pictures were lost).
- Your home: building rooms room by room (click the building marker to finish one), buying and placing furniture, stacking things on others.
- The Market, opening on L.O.S Picks, with over 3,000 pieces of L.O.S furniture in 70 categories alongside the original items. Long names fit on their cards.
- Ville Cash is free: every package in the Ville Cash shop costs nothing (up to 10 top-ups an hour).
- Starter quests and the tutorial, including the camera step.
- Cooking, crafting and timers, kept after a reload.
- Gardening: seeds show at every stage and can be harvested.
- Cleaning up: puddles, spilled confetti, fallen branches and weeds show up so you can clear them.
- Neighbours: every other L.O.S player is your neighbour, along with the town's own characters. Visit their homes, join their crews, send free gifts and ask for items from the Requests panel on the play page.
- Friendships: asking a neighbour to be your good friend (or more) reaches them in their Requests list.
- Social Center daily rewards, likes, invite rewards and visit bonuses.
- Activities like guitars and beach ball games play a stand-in animation where the original was lost, and the Indoor Skydiving Simulator is back.
- Saving: your home is saved to your L.O.S account, and backed up every night.
🟡 Partly working
- Art: we remade 666 lost item pictures and brought back icons for 154 more, but some items are still hidden from the Market because nothing of them survived. A few effects and animations show as stand-ins.
⏳ Not available
- Social Center comments.
- Buying anything with real money: nothing in the game is sold.
