The Ville Guide

Welcome to The Ville

The Ville was Zynga's life game (2012–2013): make a character, build your dream home room by room, and get to know your neighbours. Zynga's server was never archived, so this one is our own, rebuilt from the game.

Getting in

  1. Get the L.O.S launcher from losfarms.xyz/launcher.
  2. Sign in with your L.O.S account and pick L.O.S The Ville in the games hub.
  3. Make your character. You start in a small house with a starter guide.

Your home

  • Rooms: build new rooms onto your house. A room under construction finishes as you click its building marker.
  • Furniture: buy from the market and decorate. Things stacked on others (a laptop on a desk) stay put. The market opens on L.O.S Picks, from over 3,000 pieces of furniture made for L.O.S.
  • Ville Cash is free: every package in the Ville Cash shop costs nothing.
  • Happiness and jobs: keep your character happy; some things (like the laptop) unlock through the starter quests.

Neighbours

  • Every other L.O.S player is your neighbour, along with the game's own characters.
  • Visit their homes, join their crews to help them build, and send free gifts or ask for items from the Requests panel on the play page.
  • Ask a neighbour to be your good friend (or more): it reaches their Requests list.

What's different from the original

  • Only about a sixth of the game's art survived. We've remade hundreds of lost pictures; items still without art are hidden from the market, and some effects show as a stand-in.
  • Not built: Social Center comments. Nothing is sold. The full list is on What Works Right Now.
